•First 30 days – Acquire working knowledge of our company, facilities and industry regulations. •First 30 days – Review, update and fully implement and integrate HACCP plan. •First 30 days – Review and confirm comprehensive lot tracking, tracing and recovery. •First 60 days – Review and update SOPS and GMPS for entire facility and plant personnel. •First 90 days – Create platform for on-going quality and regulatory education. •First 4 months – Develop and maintain system for measuring and monitoring key quality indicators. •First 6 months – 100% specifications for raw materials, finished goods and packaging materials on file. •First 6 months – Create vendor and client quality audit protocols. Must have a bachelors’ degree or higher, preferably food science, microbiology, or related. •Up to 10% overnight travel may be required. •Pre-employment background check and drug screen required. •Minimum of five years’ Quality/Regulatory experience required. •Must feel “at home” in a refrigerated, multi-cultural, meat processing environment. •Must be able to be on your feet all day and repeatedly lift at least 40 pounds. •There is a category specific non-compete provision with this role. •Candidates who make reference to LONG LIVE PETS in their cover letter will be preferred applicants. •Food and/or meat industry experience a plus. •Must possess advanced computer communications, organizational and public speaking skills. •Position based in Green Bay, WI.
