Detailed Job Description: Assists in the daily operations of the OSU Animal Sciences Meat Science Laboratory and serves as back-up to the lab manager; coordinates and performs routine maintenance and upkeep of the equipment and facility; coordinates purchasing for meat lab related expenses under the direction of the manager; submits, tracks, and finalizes all internal purchasing program related to items related to meat lab; Co-coordinates the sales of meat and meat products; serves as back-up for meat laboratory sales pick-up; assists with harvest, fabrication, and processing of products used in teaching, research, and extension; assists in training and overseeing 8-10 student employees; oversees the cleaning, sanitation and maintenance of all equipment and rooms
