Applications are invited for a 12-month, 1.0 FTE tenure-track position at Associate Professor or Professor rank for the Glenn & Mildred Harvey Professorship in Beef Cattle Management and Associate Department Head (approximately 40% research, 30% teaching, 5% service, 25% administration) in the Department of Animal and Rangeland Sciences of Oregon State University.  This position will teach ANS 445/545 Beef Production Systems course and other courses specific to the person’s training and is expected to establish an internationally recognized, externally funded research program.  Specific sub-disciplines related to beef cattle production and/or management may include ruminant nutrition, genetics, meat science, animal health, sustainability, behavior, and/or animal welfare.  There are two
