The Director, Export Services is responsible for the coordination and development of the technical aspects supporting USMEF’s exporter members by enabling and assisting exporter’s expanding sales of new and established red meat items and processed products in the international markets. The principal responsibilities of this position fall within the following four broad areas: (a) providing technical guidance and education to USMEF exporter members seeking new or continued access to selected export markets; (b)acting as the liaison between the exporters and USDA/USTR on technical market access issues; and (c) helping to identify export opportunities; and (d) assisting other USMEF staff with recruiting members and reaching out to exporting companies.
