WHAT YOU WILL DO
The Senior Account Executive is responsible for holistic business guidance within the specific client(s)/brand(s) and is expected to work with the team to direct the client’s/brand’s strategic course proactively. This position is responsible for the direct management of Account Management Team members working on the same client team. Coupled with this responsibility is of assigning/managing workloads within the team. This position is ultimately responsible for developing annual over-arching client plans of work with an associated budget to then dovetail with Midan service revenue development. This position is also responsible for asking, “What if…?” to bring new ideas to the client(s) and team members in order to grow client business and the Midan relationship. This position is encouraged to enhance management skills through professional development as deemed appropriate. You’ll also get to:
Understand customer and consumer needs as they relate to client’s brands
Work with key clients to understand their marketing needs and develop, execute and evaluate effective marketing programs that satisfy those needs
Manage marketing strategy and tactics
Act as lead point of contact for their team’s assigned clients/brands, and be a liaison for information and programming with internal teams
Oversee, support, and develop all Account Executives, Jr. Account Executives and/or Account Coordinators in the development and execution of client/brands marketing programs on team the position manages
Coordinate all activities with other Agency team members in order to ensure desired resources for client are available when needed
Manage budgets, billing worksheets, and client reporting.

Minimum of seven years of experience in meat marketing at an agency or corporate level and/or at least six months of demonstrated success in current position at Midan Marketing
Experience managing a portfolio of brands
Experience developing brand strategy and positioning
Experience with both B2B and B2C marketing efforts
Excellent organizational, communication, analytical, and writing skills; detail-oriented
Ability to delegate while holding direct reports accountable
Ability to manage multiple projects and assignments
Must be willing to travel up to 40%
Bachelor’s degree (advanced degree a plus) in marketing, business, animal science, meat science, agri-business or production, food, CPG, or fresh meat marketing experience
Knowledge of livestock production and/or experience is required
Previous agency experience a plus but not required
