The Cattle Summer Intern will be field based position located in Nebraska or Oklahoma (2 separate internships).
The job scope and primary focus for this position is to actively support the sales strategy across the region and territories via coordination and execution of sales support activities including:
Support and service Animal Health product portfolio
Support and promote the sales and success of our Company's Animal health products and services including Bio-Pharma products, Allflex ID products and livestock monitoring services.
Ensure the support of our Veterinarian, dealer, reseller customers and livestock producers in the use of our products
Logistical support for market field trials assisting Sales and Tech Services
Developing and executing plans for engaging customers and meeting customer needs
Participate in field based events (trade show support; customers education regarding the features and benefits of Animal Health products and services).
Ensure clear, concise and timely communication and also problem identification with Sales and Tech Services
As a Sales Intern in Animal Health, you will be required to rent a car. As part of this position, you will have to be legally authorized to rent a car in the state in which you reside.
Position Qualifications:
Education Minimum Requirement:
Candidates must be currently enrolled in Animal Science, Agribusiness, Veterinary School, or Animal Health related degree program
Candidates must have completed at least 2 years of college course work by June 2025
Required Experience and Skills:
Candidates must be 20 years of age or older at the start of the internship to meet the necessary criteria to obtain a rental car agreement through our rental car provider
Valid driver’s license and able to drive a vehicle.
Candidates must be available to work full-time for 12 weeks beginning on 19 MAY 25
Candidates must have the ability to travel 75%
Candidates must have excellent interpersonal/communication and presentation skills
Candidates must have general computer skills including working knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint and the ability to use an iPad
Candidates must have the ability to be organized, adapt to a changing environment, work independently and also as part of a team
Preferred Experience and Skills:
Candidates should have basic knowledge of the Animal Health and Animal Feed industries.
Candidates should have retail and/or Customer Service experience.
Candidates should have sales training and/or applied sales experience.
Candidates should have GPA of 3.0 or higher
Candidates should have additional language fluency highly desirable
