Our company's Dairy Monitoring Sales Summer Interns will be field-based positions located in California. The intern will serve as an Ambassador for our Dairy monitoring products and gain exposure to our 3 unique customer facing teams. This position will be a field-based sales role working closely with our sales representatives and management teams.
The intern will provide added value to our company's customers in dairy monitoring. The intern will interact with customers to gain firsthand sales experience. The job scope and primary focus for this position is to actively support the sales strategy across the territory via coordination and execution of sales support activities including face to face calls, new customer installations, post sales training and other administrative tasks that are expectations of our representatives to drive sales in the territory.
As a Sales Intern in our Animal Health Division, you will be required to rent a car. Candidates must be 20 years of age or older at the start of the internship to meet the necessary criteria to obtain a rental car agreement through our rental car provider. Valid driver’s license and able to drive a vehicle required.
Applications for this position will be reviewed at the end of October. Interviews will begin in early November.
Required Education and Experience:
Candidates must be enrolled in any bachelor’s degree program with focus on production agriculture.
Candidates must be 20 years of age or older at the start of the internship to meet the necessary criteria to obtain a rental car agreement through our rental car provider
Valid driver’s license and able to drive a vehicle.
Completed at least 2 years of college course work by May 2025.
Candidate must be available between May 19-August 8, 2025.
Candidate must be able to travel up to 50% and reside in the selected state during the internship.
Candidates must have excellent interpersonal/communication and presentation skills.
Candidates must have general computer skills including working knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint and the ability to use an iPad.
Candidate must have ability to be organized, adapt to a changing environment, work independently.
